]]>My interest in 3D media stems from my background in Architecture. I’m fascinated with learning new techniques and software to visualize ideas — It is an exciting and unique medium that is only limited by imagination.
3D modeling is useful throughout the Architectural design process and digital tools make it affordable and easily accessible. From fine-tuning designs in development to communicating ideas to a client, digital modeling bridges the gap between plans and product.
In addition to 3D modeling, I regularly assist the architects I work for in CAD drafting and various other needs such as schedules and outlines. I consider myself a handyman to any small firm or solo architect.
As a freelance artist, I’ve ventured into a variety of other types of projects. While some of it may not be directly applicable, they often open doors to new possibilities. For example, custom modeling for specific appliances or insulations, virtual reality walk throughs (with my experience in game development) and detailed material studies with my recent work in texture design.
I am quick to learn new software, these are my primary tools for this type of work, but I am not limited to these.

Designing space is one of my most valued takeaways from my background in architecture. While broad, it’s the underlying skill that links both my architectural and 3D media abilities. As the line between our physical and digital world continues to blur with AR and VR technology, I hope to stand at that intersection, experiment with the possibilities and one day pushing its limits.
I’m fascinated by its possibilities and while my work in this industry is still developing, my goal is to work towards it becoming one of my primary disciplines.
As of today my work here has extended from personal projects, to commissioned work and a year long contract position creating concept worlds for the metaverse project Clay Nation inside Unreal Engine. There, I was tasked with developing mockup worlds based on simple 2D drawings, modeling assets and textures from scratch and some technical work inside the engine.
